This policy explains what personal data we collect through punkdigital.io, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

The short version: we only collect what you give us when you book a call or email us, we use it to talk to you, and we don't sell it or track you around the web.

2. What we collect

When you book a call. Our booking link takes you to a Google Calendar booking page. When you book, we receive your name, your email address, the time you picked, and anything else you choose to add in the booking form (for example a phone number or a note about what you want to discuss). When you email us. We receive your email address, your name, and whatever you put in the message. When you visit the site. Our website provider automatically records basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use this data to identify you. We don't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To set up and hold the call you booked, and to follow up afterwards. You asked us to talk, so this is a step towards a possible agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and also our legitimate interest in running our business (Article 6(1)(f)). To reply to your emails. Our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f)). To run and secure the website. Our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and safe (Article 6(1)(f)). To meet legal obligations, such as keeping business records if you become a client (Article 6(1)(c)). We don't add you to a mailing list because you booked a call.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We only share it with the service providers we need to run things: Google (Google Workspace and Google Calendar), which handles bookings, calendar invites and our email. Our website provider, which hosts this site. Our accountants and advisers, only if you become a client and it's needed for our records. We may also share data if the law requires it. When you use the Google booking page, you're on Google's site, and Google's privacy policy also applies.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers, including Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Booking details and emails: for as long as we're in touch. If nothing comes of it, we delete them within 24 months of our last contact. Client records: for 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires. Technical website data: for as long as our website provider's standard log retention allows, usually a short period.

7. Cookies

We don't set analytics or advertising cookies. Our website provider may use a few strictly necessary cookies to deliver the site securely. They don't track you and don't need your consent. Google may set its own cookies on its booking page, under Google's policy.

8. Your rights Under the GDPR

You can ask us to: give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you correct it if it's wrong delete it limit how we use it, or stop using it (you can object to processing based on legitimate interest) send it to you or another company in a common format

Email edison@punkdigital.io and we'll reply within one month. If you're not happy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in the country where you live.

9. Security

We keep your data in business accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and only we can access it. If a data breach puts your rights at risk, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
